How did I decide to study Social Work?

  Hi everyone! This time I will talk about the career I study. When I was little, I wanted to study when I grew up careers that would help society, and I was determined to study law. Later, when I studied at high school, I began to doubt, so I had as options in addition to law, studying history, sociology, psychology, among other careers. For the same reason, I preferred not to go to university right away to decide well what career to study, so last year I decided to join territorial organizations in my neighborhood, and in the activities we did I discovered that my vocation had to do with action direct in society, so after doing the PSU I finally decided and applied to Social Work. My experience at university so far has been relatively good, since although it has been online, which is very boring, I have gotten used to the system and have had good grades. When I graduate, I would like to work in the territories, with the people, with the childhoods, and feel that I can contribut...

My biography

 Hi everyone!  My name is María Paz Medina González and I was born on February 12, 2002. I studied in elementary school at the Santa Mónica school, in high school I studied at the Liceo N1 Javiera Carrera and I am currently studying Social Work at the University of Chile. In my family we are five people: my mother is 42 years old and studied Physics at the University of Santiago, I have two sisters, the youngest is 6 years old and studies at the Colegio Adventista, and my middle sister is 14 years old and studies at the Liceo N1 Javiera Carrera, and my father is 43 years old and he is the general manager of a food restaurant called “El Ternero” which is located in Ñuñoa. In my spare time, I dance in a collective called Tinkus Legua, in which I dance most of the time Tinkus, a dance originally from Potosí, Bolivia. I also organize myself in territorial organizations in my neighborhood, which is the town of La Legua, San Joaquín.  Goodbye friends😊
